Killeen was born in Almonte, Ont., which is 50 kilometres southwest of Ottawa ... in 1998 the townships of Almonte, Ramsay and Pakenham merged to form the Town of Mississippi Mills ... Patrick's family resides in Carp, which is a short distance from Kanata, the home of the NHL's Ottawa Senators ... Patrick's father, Ron, is a facilities manager for Gilmore Investments, based in Kanata ... Ron played competitive broomball and participated in provincial and national championships. He also played in provincial fastball championships ... Patrick's mother, Sheila, is manager of West Carleton Physiotherapy in Carp ... she was a high school basketball player and a member of regional track and field teams ... Patrick's younger brother, Liam, attends All-Saints Catholic High School and plays hockey for the Ottawa Silver Seven ...
